Observatory One in a Winter Wonderland

Seen on the right is Observatory One. This building contains storage for the eight portable 6-inch Dobsonians, a machine shop, and a heated control room. The school's first telescope is stored here and the building is named in its honor. The computers in Observatory One will be used to operate the 26-inch WIYNi that will be housed in the Maria Luigia Sozzi Observatory, beginning in the winter of 2001. Part of this observatory can be seen at the far left of the picture, behind the tree branches.
